We are all on the hunt for that perfect beauty find. Whenever I come across products that excite me, I have to spread the word so other people can enjoy them as well. I have listed a few products below that I have been using and am absolutely loving right now. Read on and I hope you love them as much as I do.
St. Tropez Sunless Tanner
Spray tanning has been a weekly ritual of mine for years but with baby Olive’s due date quickly approaching, I know that I will not have time to make it over to the tanning salon quite as often.
*my doctor said it was totally fine to use spray or self-tanners while pregnant*
Even though I will be busy with the baby, I am not going to neglect myself. Mama needs to feel like herself! With that said, I went on the hunt for a great self-tanner that I could use at home. St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse is exactly what I was looking for. The mousse pumps out in a greenish-brown color which makes it easy to see where I am applying the product and helps me achieve an even coverage. I apply the mousse with an application mitt and what I really like is that I do not feel greasy while the product is processing (which usually takes 6-8 hours). Once I finish processing to my desired shade and take a shower, I am left with a perfect bronze look without the slightest bit of orange.
Tarte Shape Tape
It seems that the search for the perfect concealer is over. After coming across an insane number of reviews, I ran to my nearest Ulta store and picked up a tube of Tarte Shape Tape. Oh my gosh! First of all, I have very dark circles under my eyes which have been made worse due to lack of sleep now that I am nine months pregnant. The Shape Tape gives flawless full coverage, brightens and does not crease or settle into lines. A little goes a long way and, added bonus, you will not get a cakey look. It. Is. Awesome.
Latex and Sponge Blender (Beauty Blender Dupe)
Beauty Blenders are an awesome tool for applying makeup. Finding a quality Beauty Blender “dupe” is even more exciting and easy on the wallet. Recently I came across makeup blending sponges on Amazon that I absolutely love. They are not highly porous like many of the discount blenders I have seen in stores so it will not absorb and waste as much foundation as most knock off brands. As an added bonus, the deal I found for $10.99 came with three sponge blenders as well as two silicone blenders which I enjoy use when applying my face masks.
L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara
I blow through mascara very quickly and hate having to spend $20 – $30 on a new tube every six weeks. Being that I am picky, it has been very difficult to find a drugstore brand mascara that I love. After a long search, I have finally found the perfect tube and it only costs $9.99! L’Oreal Lash Paradise is absolutely fabulous and leaves me with long, full and clump-free lashes. I can apply multiple coats (which I highly suggest always doing) without achieving a spider lash look. The brush is less exaggerated but comparable to Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara which has been a fan favorite for the last few years and will set you back $23 per tube.
