If there are three things I love, it is spring, crafting and making tablescapes. I cannot wait for our baby girl to be here so we can dye easter eggs together but in the meantime, I am practicing my technique so I can pass it on to her. I’m so excited!!
With our house being very neutral in color, I was able to have fun with small pops of color for this year’s Easter tablescape. Most of the materials used were things I had laying around the house and anything I purchased was very inexpensive. Mismatched glass pieces make my heart flutter so I used candle holders, a bowl, and a crystal glass in the center of the table and positioned them on an Ikea platter. With a little moss that I found at the Dollar Store, soft green beds were made for my decorative easter eggs to lay on and gave a fun spring feel to the table.
I purchased two bundles of flowers at Michael’s that are intended for another project for my daughter’s nursery but for the holiday, I popped each bundle in a crystal champagne flute to give height and bulk to the table. Lastly, a few eggs were decorated with egg dye and Martha Stewart Liquid Gilding.
I hope you all had a beautiful Easter weekend and enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones. Cheers!
